Update: Rebekah is now sleeping every nap and every night in her new room! In fact, she seems to be sleeping more soundly for some reason. Thank goodness! She is handling the move very well and is even helping her Dad paint the old room for Baby Joel. [more] |

We had a monumental step forward on Thursday! Rebekah officially moved into her big girl room. She was so excited! We all got into her bed and read her book, said prayers and hugged goodnight! Rebekah was loving the entire experience. I quietly slipped out of the room while her Daddy tucked her in. About 10 minutes later Bekah walked out of the room with pillow in hand and informed me she needed to sleep in the little bed. It has been the same every night since. She proudly climbs into her new bed. We are all smiles and laughs. A few moments later she, acting quite dejected, walks back to the other room. Any advice? |

We officially have our first family pet! On Thursday we took a trip to the pet store and Bekah picked out a blue and red Beta fish. She named it RTD2. That is not a typo. His name is not R2D2, it is RTD2. Can you see her Father's influence on her? So far Bekah is loving caring for her precious pet. This only consists of feeding him in the morning and evening, but it is a start. She loves watching him swim and exclaimed, "RTD2 is very kind!" As Bekah seems to already love him let's hope he lives a long life for a fish. I guess we do know where there are dozens of other blue and red Beta fish for $1.99. |
